A fast growing Web Design Agency with offices in New York City and Bohemia Long Island is seeking a full-time Technical Project Manager. Candidate must be web savvy and be able to manage a team of Web designers and developers. Individual must be knowledgeable of the website development process and have experience managing small, medium, and large-scale web development projects independently. Experience managing the development of all types of Websites (e-commerce, database driven, corporate, social networking, flash) is a must. Candidate must be knowledgeable in Information architecture as it pertains to website development, functionality and best practices in usability and also be able to develop detailed wireframes for client websites. Ideal candidate possesses 2+ years industry experience and a bachelors in computer science or equivalent.
Person must possess the following attributes:
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be detail oriented and possess excellent organizational skills
• Must be proactive and be able to manage multiple projects smoothly and efficiently.
• Must be able to prioritize and foresee problems before they become problems and be able to spearhead solutions.
• Must possess leadership qualities and manage a team of designers and developers.
• Must have experience writing client proposals and contracts.
• A bachelor’s degree is a must. Computer Science degree is preferred.
• Person must be technical and have a strong knowledge of back-end development as it pertains to website development.
• Must be proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Visio/Omnigraffle.
• Experience using the Adobe Creative suite and Microsoft Project is preferred.
• Knowledge of SEO (Search Engine Optimization) is a plus.
